can I buy CDs heard on DMX MUSIC?
Use the song information made available to you either On-Screen,
through your DMX/DJ remote or from our web site (What’s
Playing) to purchase CDs from www.amazon.com,
or at any music distributor.
Can I get a list of songs that
are going to play?
Unfortunately, due to the 1995 Digital Performance Right in
Sound Recording Act "DPRSRA" section 114, we are
not allowed to publish in advance the title of the specific
sound recordings. We apologize for any inconvenience this
may be causing you. However, the DMX MUSIC on-screen guide
and DJ remote will instantly tell you the song title, artist,
composer and album title of whatever you are listening to.
You can also find out the last fifteen songs played on any
given channel by visiting the What’s
Playing section of the DMX MUSIC web site.
How can I get more DMX MUSIC channels?
If you receive DMX MUSIC through your local cable operator,
the cable operator determines how many DMX MUSIC channels
will be offered in your area. If you would like to receive
more DMX MUSIC channels, please call your cable operator and
let them know. In fact, we encourage you to do so.
If your cable operator is unable to offer more DMX MUSIC channels,
then DMX Direct might be the right
solution for you. DMX Direct has over 100
channels of CD-quality stereo sound that are delivered
directly to your home via satellite.

How can I request a song?
If you receive "The DMX Listening Room" and would
like to request a song, please call our request line at 1-877-YOUR-DMX.
If your cable provider does not offer "The DMX Listening
Room" please call the Sound Solutions Center at 1-800-362-TUNE
weekdays, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (PST) with your suggestions,
comments, requests or complaints. Since you are already on-line,
click on Equests
to request a song and for a chance to win your favorite music.
How can I submit
my CD for airplay?
DMX MUSIC plays the hits and makes the hits. With over 100
channels playing music 24 hours a day, we go further than
any other music entertainment company by playing the hottest
new artists. We are a signatory company to ASCAP and BMI,
so if you’re in a band, send your submission to DMX MUSIC,
Music Entertainment Department, 11400 W. Olympic Blvd., Suite
1100, Los Angeles, CA 90064 or call (310) 444-1744.
We require at least 2 copies of your CD be sent to our Los
Angeles office. DMX MUSIC only plays CDs, so DATs, cassettes
or vinyl will not be accepted. Please understand that we have
a "no return" policy for submitted CDs. But, we’ll
gladly take a listen and if we like what we hear, we’ll play
your music.
How does my cable company determine
my DMX MUSIC line up? (Analog Cable)
DMX MUSIC consultants assist cable operators assess their
market’s music tastes and recommend appropriate music channels.
Your comments regarding your favorite music are also carefully
evaluated.
The DMX MUSIC programs are determined at the discretion of
your cable provider. To find out which DMX MUSIC channel line-up
is available in your area, contact your local cable provider
directly.

Why do I hear popping & drop outs?
The signal interference you recently experienced with your
DMX MUSIC service occurs when the signal strength at the local
cable head end has not been properly modulated. Over or under
driving the signal could easily cause the signal dropouts.
When this happens, you hear "popping" or "snapping"
noises.
You should contact your cable company so that the cable head
end technician can correct the problem.
